About Tshiuetin
To
ensure the long-term economic and social development of
their communities, the First Nations of Uashat Mak
Mani-Utenam, Matimekush-Lac John and Kawawachikamach
created Tshiuetin Rail Transportation Inc, to operate a
railway service between Emeril Jct in Labrador and the
Town of Schefferville in Quebec. Its mission is to offer
to its clients a high quality, safe, and reliable rail
service, at a competitive price that is responsive to
the requirements of the populations, served and to create
and retain quality jobs for the members of our
communities.
In
addition, to maintain a close bond between the
communities of Uashat Mak Mani-Utenam, Matimekush-Lac
John and Kawawachikamach, by 2015 TSH will be one of the
main employers in the transportation industry in
Northern Quebec. Its strong commitment to the quality of
its services, the development of its employees and its
contribution to the members of its founding communities,
will make it the best all-round company in Northern
Quebec.
